For those looking to map network latency along roads or trails, PingPoint presents a promising solution. This application allows users to visualize network ping latency directly on a map, facilitating the identification of optimal signal areas.

With PingPoint, users can conduct ping sessions while navigating, allowing them to map connectivity across various locations, routes, or trails. The application marks pings on the map with color-coded indicators—ranging from green to red—to represent latency quality from good to poor. Users have the ability to select different ping intervals or target specific hosts for their tests.

PingPoint has been thoughtfully designed to simplify the process of diagnosing connectivity issues, particularly in remote areas and regions with limited cellular service. Suggested applications for this tool include:

 <li>A location-based ping interval feature (to only ping after moving a specified distance).</li>
 <li>Throughput testing capabilities.</li>
 <li>Potential support for Apple Watch, subject to user requests.</li>
</ul>

Privacy Policy:
PingPoint ensures that all recorded location data remains offline and encrypted on your device. Aside from optional data that can be shared with developers via Apple, no third-party analytics or advertising frameworks are utilized within PingPoint. The application will not transmit, distribute, or sell user data at any time.
